Who we are
We are a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering and advocating for the visually impaired community in the Kingdom of Tonga.
Established in 2014, the Tonga National Visual Impairments Association (TNVIA) has worked tirelessly to enhance the lives of individuals with visual impairments.
Our Focus
Our mission is to promote the rights and well-being of individuals with visual impairments in Tonga.
Advocate for Inclusion
We strive to ensure that individuals with visual impairments have equal access to education, employment, and recreational opportunities.
Raise Awareness
We work diligently to raise awareness about the challenges faced by the visually impaired and promote understanding and empathy within the wider community.
Provide Support
We offer a range of support services, including access to assistive technologies, training, and resources that empower individuals with visual impairments to lead independent and fulfilling lives.
Collaborate
We actively collaborate with government agencies, non-profits, and businesses to create a more accessible and inclusive environment for the visually impaired.
